Mystery: Fiction dealing with the solution of a crime or the unraveling of secrets Choose a character from the book, this character will be "WANTED." November Book Report:
Non-Fiction: writing that is about facts or real events Write a summary of the book on the turkeys belly! Remember when writing a summary, the summary should be shorter than the book. It should tell the main idea and the most important details of the book. On the feathers write three things you learned, topic/main idea, and your favorite part. On one of the feathers you may draw your favorite part. Put your turkey together and color lightly (so that I am able to read the writing)! Book Suggestions:

December Book Report:
Fiction: created by the authors imagination, the author makes up the story, characters, plot, setting, etc. You will create your own Santa! Choose a holiday fiction book. On Santa's hat you will write your name and the title of the book you have chosen. On his beard you will write what the story is about. On the belt you will write the author and the illustrator of the book. The setting (where the story took place) of the story will go on the trim of his jacket. His boots will include the problem and the solution of the story. Put Santa back together and color lightly (so that I am able to read the writing)! Book Suggestions:

January Book Report:
Biography: the story of someone's life written by another person You will build a snowman! Choose a biography. Neatly fill in the title and your name on the hat of the snowman. On one mitten you will write three words that describe that person and on the other mitten you will write when and where the person was born. On the middle part of the snowman's body write what you think was this person's greatest achievement. On the large part of the snowman's body write a paragraph. Remember a paragraph needs to be indented, must have an introductory sentence, and a conclusion sentence. Your paragraph should be at least five sentences long. The small circle is the snowman's head, You will need to decorate the face, be creative! Build your snowman and color lightly (so that I am able to read the writing)! Book Suggestions:
